As the World Falls Down: A Masquerade

July 31, 2018 by Rabbit Quinn

Friends! I have a very special announcement!

In the realm where Bowie and fantasy cross paths so perfectly, there is a masquerade ball dripping with billowing white fabric, glittering crystals, pearls, twinkling lights and gilded masks. Now, imagine we’ve turned this 80’s childhood Labyrinth fantasy into a reality that effervesces with puppets, creatures, and wave after wave of enchanting live music and thrilling performance art all hosted by The Goblin King himself!

This is what Containher, Paradox Media (Edwardian Ball) & I are creating for you and our incredibly creative community for one night of absolute magic. We’ve gathered epic performers, set designers, and artists of all mediums to draft up the blueprint for an unforgettable evening on SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2018 at THE CHAPEL in San Francisco.

WE ARE LAUNCHING A KICKSTARTER FOR PRE-SALE TICKETS, TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, 8/1!!!

You will be able to get t-shirts, pins, posters and VIP seating you won’t be able to get anywhere else. They will be Kickstarter exclusive.

“Pretty Paper”

December 24, 2017 by Rabbit Quinn

Hello Friends! Merry Christmas Eve. 🙂 Last year, I did a cover of Willie Nelson’s “Pretty Paper”. I thought I would share it today, to be festive. I love this song and it’s message. There are so many out there who are less fortunate or have fallen on hard times. It breaks my heart, but I try to counter it by being thankful for what is in my life that is good, and contributing what good I can to the world. I am grateful for my friends, my community, my craft and the hope they bring even in dark times. Happy Holidays. <3 <3 <3 xoxo

I can’t wait to share my cover of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” with you!! Jesus, it’s turning out well. Never done a one woman backing vocal choir before. Thank you John Adams for your time, patience and skillz. 😍 #enjoythesilence #depechemode #danyelfman

A Benefit for the Sonoma Fire Victims 11/16

November 10, 2017 by Rabbit Quinn

Friends! I’ve been on a performance hiatus for a while, but know many of you have been asking about my next show. I’ll be performing at this lovely little fundraiser for the Sonoma Fire Victims on Thursday, 11/16 at the Golden Bull in Oakland with my friend and cello siren Unwoman and the talented Zack Bateman. I’m hoping Erica and I will have time to work on a duet of some kind, which would be EPIC. Mark your calendars.

Unwoman and I are also working on a special cove collaboration for this show. Nine Inch Nail’s “Closer” as it would appear on West World. LOL. Here is a little clip of me messing around with it. I can’t wait to perform it with her live. We might even record it! 😀

Friends! I am performing this Saturday at a special taping of a Christmas Special for KOFY TV with Sam Chase and Matt Jaffe. It’s free, and I’ll be performing three solo songs. I was thinking October Girl, Paradise & my Willie Nelson Cover “Pretty Paper”. Now… what to wear? Grumpy, black “Ba Humbug” Santa hat? I need to stay true to my roots…
